Prior to the transition to the new Media Center, NBC Boston decided to modernize its existing Studios A and B, bringing their production capabilities into the 21st century. Our team was responsible for the Assistant Lighting Design and programming, which included maintaining precise draftings and overhauling the control infrastructure. BDL successfully bridged the gap between lighting technology and the control room by implementing a sophisticated interface that integrated seamlessly with the directors' cueing software. This new level of connectivity empowered directors with intuitive, high-precision control that was previously unavailable, drastically streamlining their workflow and elevating the visual quality of their broadcasts.
